Terms of Service

1. Service Identification

SatAssure is a trade name for Reinhardt Hamman T/A SatAssure, a sole proprietorship based in Garsfontein, Pretoria.

We are an independent service provider and are not an official branch of, nor are we affiliated with, partnered with, or endorsed by MultiChoice (DStv), Netflix, Showmax, or any third-party hardware manufacturers or brands. All trademarks and brand names used on this website remain the property of their respective owners and are used for descriptive purposes only.


2. Detailed Pricing & Billing

In compliance with transparency regulations, our pricing is structured as follows:

    Call-Out Fee: A base fee of R350 applies to all on-site visits within a 25km radius of Garsfontein, Pretoria. This fee covers travel and a professional assessment.

    Labour Rates: Labour is billed at R250 per 30 minutes (or part thereof).

    Total Expense: The final cost includes the call-out fee, labour, and any hardware supplied. A full quote will be provided on-site, and work will only commence once the estimate is accepted. Major work will only commence once the quote is verbally or written accepted.

    Payment: Full payment is due immediately upon completion of the service via EFT or Cash.


3. Workmanship Warranty

We provide a 3-month workmanship warranty on all physical installations. 

    What’s Covered: Any fault directly resulting from the installation process (e.g., loose brackets or poor cable terminations).

    What’s Not Covered: Faults caused by external factors such as lightning strikes, power surges (load shedding), weather damage, or tampering by third parties.

    Power Surges & Load Shedding: SatAssure is not liable for hardware failure caused by power surges, load shedding, or lightning. We strongly recommend the use of high-quality surge protectors on all DStv decoders, Wi‑Fi routers and Home Theatre equipment.

    Hardware Claims: Equipment failure due to power instability is not covered by our workmanship warranty and may void manufacturer warranties.

    Hardware Warranty: All equipment (Decoders, LNBs, routers, etc.) is covered by the original manufacturer’s warranty (typically 12 months for DStv decoders).

4. Service Area & Travel Surcharges

SatAssure is based in Garsfontein and primarily serves Pretoria, Midrand, Centurion, Kempton Park, and surrounding areas. For locations within a 25km radius of Garsfontein, our standard call-out fee applies. For services requested outside of this radius (including certain areas of Midrand or Kempton Park), a travel surcharge may apply. Any such fees will be clearly disclosed and agreed upon before we confirm your booking.
